To create a custom column in COBRA Show Creator (CSC) follow either of the two methods outlined below. Custom columns can be used to hold additional information for that specific event. Some use cases, but are not limited to, are positions and rack angles.
Method 1:
From the Create New Show window, enter the custom column names you'd like in the Custom Columns field as indicated below.
If adding more than one custom column, separate each name with a comma.
Method 2:
1. Click Show Settings from the left-hand side of the CSC screen.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Show Settings window and click the Add Custom Column button.
3. Enter a new column name in the New Custom Column field. In the example below, "Rack #" is entered as the new column name. Then click the Create button when finished.
4. The new column name will appear as seen below, and the Show Settings window can be closed by clicking Save Settings. Use the X icon on an existing custom column to remove it from the show.
NOTE: If a custom column was accidentally removed from a show, adding a new custom column with the same name will restore the previous column's event data.
5. Your new column will appear on the main scripting window as seen below.
Default Custom Columns
Default custom columns will automatically be added to the custom columns field when creating a new show. This is helpful if you consistently add a custom column, such as position, to every show.
1. To add a new default custom column, click Show Settings from the left-hand side of the CSC screen.
2. Scroll down in the preferences window into the Events section to find the Default Custom Columns setting.
3. Enter a new column name in the New Custom Column field. In the example below, "Rack #" is entered as the new column name. Then click the Create button when finished.
4. The new column name will appear as seen below, use the X icon on an existing custom column to remove it from the show. The Preferences window can be closed by clicking X in the top right corner or clicking anywhere outside the Preferences window.
5. Your new column will appear in the Custom Columns field when creating a new show.
