Control Panel Gen 2 – Version 12.284 Release Notes

The Control Panel Gen 2 update v12.284 includes new features, key improvements to the Random Show Generator, and targeted bug fixes. These notes summarize what changed in this version.

New Features

Opening category (Random Show Generator)

Added an Opening category to the Random Show Generator.

STEP feature for Random Shows

Added a STEP option for Random Shows.

Signal Graphing

Reintroduced historical signal graphs for modules.

• Tapping the signal value opens a historical graph.
• The graph shows 18R2 signal and MESH signal as separate lines.

Improvements

Random Show Generator logic

Updated behavior to prevent the show from auto re-randomizing when performing common edits:

• Assigning cues
• Changing settings
• Adjusting show duration

If additional cues are assigned to a module, they are appended without forcing a re-randomize. Users can choose to re-randomize or manually reorder as needed.

Firmware support

Added support for firmware versions 5.0 and 5.1 in Gen 2.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where Pyrocast could skip when hitting an Alternate event.
• Fixed an issue where German special characters did not display correctly in Control Panel text fields.
• General stability and crash fixes to improve overall reliability.
