Do I need SMPTE to do a pyromusical?

No, SMPTE is not the only way to sync music with fireworks. Alternatives like the COBRA Audio Box allow wireless MP3 playback, making it a convenient option. Another simple method is the "one, two, three, go!" technique, where you press play on your music device and COBRA remote simultaneously. While this may lack the precision of the Audio Box or SMPTE, it's a practical starting point for Pyromusicals. Overall, various methods exist to connect music to your fireworks show, allowing you to choose what fits your needs and budget best.

if we use other firing system not cobra but we want to use your Cobra Audio box we can do this method too? like pressing the audio test in audio box simultaneously with our firing system. That's feasible way of using it, right?

  • Hey Gian Paolo Bojos happy to help.

Yes, you can press TEST on the audio box and start the show with the other firing system using this method too.
