A variable pulse time is when you control how long the firing module sends electricity to a specific cue. For example, you may want channel 01 cue 2 to fire at 1m30s and continue firing for 3 seconds and again at 1m52s for 10 seconds, etc... depending on your firing requirements. This is commonly used to control external devices, such as a flame projector with an external input trigger.
This function is only supported on Firmware 6.0 or higher and is not supported on 18M Hardware A.
Adding Variable Pulse Time in COBRA Show Creator
1. To add Pulse Times to your show in COBRA Show Creator, first ensure to select Firmware 6.0 in the Show Settings of the show you are adding Variable Pulse Times to.
2. Add the desired amount of time into the Pulse Time column for any event you wish to add a specific Pulse Time to.
3. Leaving the Pulse Time column blank will result in the Module firing according to its individual e-match or Talon/Clip-On Igniter mode setting.
Adding Variable Pulse Time in Finale 3D
1. To add Pulse TImes to your show in Finale 3D, ensure to select Firmware 6.0 when creating or exporting your script.
2. Add the desired amount of time into the Duration column for any event you wish to add a specific Pulse Time to.
3. Leaving the Duration column blank will result in the Module firing according to its individual e-match or Talon/Clip-On Igniter mode setting.
Adding Variable Pulse Time in Microsoft Excel
