Yes, turning off the 18R2 will cause the modules to stop firing after a defined period of time. Using firmware 4.0.0 and lower the module disarms in approximately 10 seconds, modules on firmware version 5.0 disarm in about 20 seconds, and modules using firmware version 5.1 and higher will disarm in about 60 seconds. On firmware 8.0 (beta), this disarm time is configurable using the Script Timeout setting (script column K), adjustable from 10 to 300 seconds with a default of 60. A value of 0 disables the timeout entirely, so the modules will continue firing even with no signal from the remote. Use this with caution. See Script Format for details. In order to disarm the modules immediately, we suggest pressing the TEST / DISARM button.
If I power off my 18R2, will my modules stop firing?
