Why Is My 18R2 Showing a Dash on the Screen After a Firmware Update?

Seeing a dash on your COBRA 18R2's screen following a firmware update is normal. The remote is checking the type of flash memory used, which can take up to 30 seconds. During this time, the screen may turn off, or the remote might reboot once the check is complete. This process is automatic, and your 18R2 will resume normal operation shortly.
