Will the 18R2 Controller lose sync or scripts when the batteries are removed?

No, removing the batteries from the 18R2 Controller will not cause you to lose sync or script information.

Script and module addresses are stored on the 18R2 even if the 18R2 is powered off or if you remove the batteries. This is possible because COBRA uses what's known as non-volatile memory. Non-volatile memory allows the 18R2 to keep stored information even when the power is turned off.
