Follow these steps to install and launch COBRA Show Operator (CSO) on your computer. CSO runs in Google Chrome on both Windows and Mac and requires the COBRA Agent to communicate with your COBRA hardware.
Step 1: Install Google Chrome
CSO is designed to run in Google Chrome. If you don't already have it installed:
- Visit Google Chrome Download.
- Download and install the browser for your operating system.
- Once installed, open Chrome and ensure it is fully updated.
Step 2: Download and Install COBRA Agent
The COBRA Agent is a lightweight background application that connects CSO to your COBRA 18R2 hardware via USB.
- Download the COBRA Agent here or from the link provided in COBRA Show Operator.
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once installed, the COBRA Agent will run automatically in the background.
- Keep the COBRA Agent updated whenever prompted to ensure smooth performance.
Step 3: Connect Your COBRA Remote
- Use a USB cable to connect your COBRA 18R2 remote to your computer.
- Ensure the remote is powered on.
- The COBRA Agent should detect the remote automatically.

Step 4: Launch COBRA Show Operator
- Open Google Chrome.
- Go to https://operator.cobrashowcreator.com.
- Click Subscribe if prompted, then select Continue to confirm access.
- CSO will load directly in your browser and connect through the COBRA Agent to your hardware.
Step 5: Verify Connection
- Once CSO is open, check that your 18R2 is showing as connected at the top of the screen, and any connected devices are listed under the Device List.
- If your remote or modules do not appear, verify that the USB cable is secure and the COBRA Agent is running.
- Refresh the page in Chrome if needed.

So for systems built as a command center, would the new show operator be connected via the USB port (one used for loading scripts) and simply not use an attached tablet (leave tablet disconnected)?
