In firmware versions 5.1.4, 6.0.7, and later, updates have been made to improve the error handling of stuck buttons on the 18R2 controller. These enhancements allow the device to continue functioning normally, even if a button gets stuck.
Previously, if a button on the 18R2 was stuck, the entire unit became inoperable, but with these firmware updates, only the faulty button is disabled.
If there's a stuck button, the error is displayed on the screens of the unit. "ER3" appears on the upper screen indicating a stuck button error, while the specific error code linked to the faulty button shows up on the lower screen.
