How do I create and load multiple scripts into the 18R2?

COBRA allows you to load multiple scripts into the 18R2 from within a single script file. If you are running COBRA firmware 5.1 or higher as you are no longer required to name your script file cobra.csv.

When creating multiple scripts, you are only required to have the word "end" once at the end of the script file. See below for an example script file with multiple scripts.

1,1,0,1

00:00:01.0s,1,1,shell

00:00:02.0s,1,2,shell

00:00:03.0s,1,3,shell

1,2,0,1

00:00:01.0s,2,1,shell

00:00:02.0s,2,2,shell

00:00:03.0s,2,3,shell

end

When defining multiple scripts in the same file, only the first script in the file supports the unlimited channel and cue firing. Any script beyond the first script in the file has a limit to fire no more than two channels in a 0.4s time window.

The process of creating multiple scripts cannot be performed using COBRA Show Creator but can be done manually after exporting the scripts from COBRA Show Creator and editing them together using Excel or other text editing programs such as Notepad. Finale or Finale 3D will export multiple scripts if you use the "Track" feature as each track is exported as it's own separate script.

For more information on using multiple scripts, please see our 18R2 Creating and Uploading Scripts User Guide.
