Since the 6M is commonly used on SPFX applications, it's generally desirable that the unit be as concealed as possible by not displaying LEDs or general displays. The following describes the varying modes and commands available to address this.
Standard Mode
When powering on the 6M, the standard mode has all lights, including the LEDs, 7-segment display, and backlight on.
Dark Modes
If you press and release the LIGHT button momentarily, the 7-segment display and backlights will turn off, leaving only the ARM or TEST LED dimly displayed. If you press and hold the LIGHT button for three seconds and then release, all displays will turn off. Even though the unit appears to be off, it's not off and will fire normally. To change back to standard mode, press and hold the LIGHT button for another three seconds and then release. If you power the unit off and back on, the standard mode will display.
