Do Hardware A 18Ms support the G-Flame Adapter?

Question: Do Hardware A 18Ms support the G-Flame Adapter?

Answer: No, Hardware A 18Ms do not support the G-Flame Adapter. Using the adapter on an A hardware 18M could cause the unit to inadvertently trigger the G-Flame during continuity checks.

To identify if your system is a Hardware A or Hardware B version of the 18M, please refer to our guide on identifying hardware versions, which includes visual indicators to distinguish the two hardware versions from one another.

The G-Flame adapter is compatible with the 6M, 18M (Hardware B version), 36M, and 72M firing modules, provided they are running firmware version 6.0.x or later.
