What type of software options can I use to create a COBRA script?

The script file format is a simple CSV file that can be created using many different types of programs depending on your specific needs. 

We recommend the COBRA Show Creator for smaller, entry-level shows, including pyro musicals and Finale 3D for professional-level shows. In addition to these options, there are numerous COBRA compatible 3rd party solutions available, including ShowSim, FWSim, Pyrothek, and Pyrodigital ShowDirector.

For those on a budget, although not as helpful on error checks as some of the other programs, Excel, Open Office, and Notepad are reliable and cost-effective scripting tools. Please see our 18R2 Example Script Template created using Excel to get started. We also have several basic script examples available on our User Guides page.
