What is the difference between light-duty (24 AWG) and heavy-duty (22 AWG) cables?

The difference between light-duty and heavy-duty cables is the gauge (AWG), which impacts the amount of electrical resistance. A 22 gauge cable has lower resistance than a 24 gauge cable, which means you can fire a higher number of igniters at set distances.

Please see Continuity Clarified for the total number of igniters you can fire at varying ranges and wire gauges.
