Question: Will an 18S or 36S slat add extra cues to my show?
Answer: No. Slats only mirror the cues that already exist on the module bank they plug into—they never create new ones.
What a slat does
- Moves the cue connections away from the module (handy for fallout or pre‑wiring).
- Lets you mount quick‑plugs or clips right where your effects sit.
- Keeps wiring tidy by shortening igniter leads.
What a slat doesn’t do
- Increase cue count.
- Give you new cue numbers.
- Work as a stand‑alone firing device.
