Do slats give me additional Cues?

Question: Will an 18S or 36S slat add extra cues to my show?
Answer: No. Slats only mirror the cues that already exist on the module bank they plug into—they never create new ones.

What a slat does

  • Moves the cue connections away from the module (handy for fallout or pre‑wiring).
  • Lets you mount quick‑plugs or clips right where your effects sit.
  • Keeps wiring tidy by shortening igniter leads.

What a slat doesn’t do

  • Increase cue count.
  • Give you new cue numbers.
  • Work as a stand‑alone firing device.
