If your module does not arm, a faulty key switch might be the cause. You can determine this during the boot-up sequence by observing the CUE LEDs. A properly functioning module will not flash the CUE LEDs red and green when the key switch is turned to the ARM position—this only happens when turning to TEST mode.
Steps to Test the Key Switch:
-
Identify the Problem:
- Turn the key switch to ARM. If the module does not arm and the CUE LEDs flash incorrectly, the key switch may be faulty.
-
Test with Another Module (Optional):
- If you have a second module and feel comfortable doing so, you can swap the key switch from the second module into the non-working one.
- Turn the known working key switch to the ARM position to verify if this resolves the issue.

- If the problem persists after testing with a known working key switch, the module may need to be inspected by COBRA.
