My module won't arm, it is always in test mode, what should I do?

If the module does not ARM, you might have a faulty key switch. If you have access to a second module and are comfortable doing so, disassemble the second module and plug the key switch into the non-working device.  You will then want to turn that known working key switch into the on position to confirm that the module now does boot into ARM.

If you are on a shoot site and need emergency support to hotwire your COBRA firing module please email

If this fixes the issue, you will need to replace your key switch. If this does not fix the problem, your module may need to be inspected by COBRA. Please reach out to us at for assistance. See our Key Switch Replacement product page for more information or to purchase.
