Can I fire e-match/MJG Initiators/Talons/Clip-on Igniters on the same module?

Yes, you can use the same module to fire E-match igniters, MJG initiators, and Talon/Clip-on igniter clips.

If you are using Talon/Clip-on igniter clips, two things are required:

  1. The module must be in Talon/Clip-on Igniter mode.
  2. Always leave at least a two-second gap between firing cues on the same module. This prevents a shorted e-match on one cue from causing the next cue to not fire — when cues fire in an overlapping manner, the electricity goes through the shorted cue (the path of least resistance).

How to change the firing mode

On the firing module, press and hold the SYNC button while pressing the CH+ button until 2.0 is displayed, indicating a two-second fire time (Talon/Clip-on Igniter mode). To switch back to E-Match mode, press and hold SYNC while pressing CH- until 0.1 is displayed. The selected mode is retained after the module is powered off.
