Installing the Power Path Adapter Product Correction Kit into a 36M/72M Module

This installation guide will take you through the process of installing the Power Path Adapter Product Correction Kit in the COBRA 36M and 72M firing modules.

This only applies to 36M/72M modules affected by the product correction. For more information, please see Power Present at External Power Posts When Unit is Off (36M / 72M).

1) If your module is in an armored case, remove the Pro-Adapt plate from the module. Please see how to remove your Pro-Adapt plate for instructions.

2) Disconnect the LiPo battery.

3) Unscrew the four screws on the back of the enclosure. 

4) Disconnect the 9V battery harness.

5) Disconnect the external power posts harness.

6) Install the COBRA Power Path Adapter Board.

7) Reconnect the External Power Post harness to the COBRA Power Path Adapter Board.

8) Reconnect the 9V battery harness.

9) Reinstall the back enclosure and four enclosure screws.

10) Reconnect the LiPo battery.

11) Push the External Power Post caps into the module's external power posts.
