Yes, a wireless signal can penetrate barriers; however, the signal quality that you will have depends significantly on the type of restriction you are contending with. For example, concrete is tough to penetrate through, but a wooden fence is much easier. Obtaining a line of site directly to the 18R2, or using another module as a hopping point within the COBRA MESH network is our best advice and always check your signal strength when obstacles might be an issue.
