The 36M and 72M units have a top-mounted charge port compatible only with COBRA chargers. Using other chargers may affect battery life and charge cycles.
COBRA provides three charger options: a single, 5-module, and 10-module. Multi-bay chargers reduce outlet usage and can be integrated into permanent charging stations for large COBRA module quantities.
To charge, insert the plug into the port. The charge LED will blink during charging and stay solid when complete. Charging from 0% to 100% takes about six hours. The charger will provide a trickle charge afterward. Monitor charging and unplug when done. Batteries lose about 0.3V per month in storage, roughly 15% of life.
Store charged LiPo batteries in a dry, climate-controlled area. COBRA LiPo batteries charge to 85%; for longevity, discharge to ~50% before long-term storage. For long-term storage, COBRA recommends disconnecting the lipo battery from the module to prevent damage from deep discharge.
