I think my 18M may have bad signal, how can I test to see if it has normal signal operation?

To test the signal of your 18M, raise the module 1m off the ground, and about 100 feet (30 meters) away from the remote. The signal strength should be between -35 and -45 on average. If operating mesh (5.0 or higher), make sure only one module is on at a time when performing signal tests. If your module performs much less, such as -55 or lower, then the module likely has a bad transceiver that requires replacement. In this case, additional testing will be requested by the COBRA support team to determine if there is a fault.
