Optional Accessories

The COBRA 18R2 Controller has a few optional accessories available for purchase. Some accessories are designed to increase the range of the COBRA system while others are designed to provide added functionality like the COBRA Deadman control or SMPTE module.


Deadman Control

The COBRA Deadman Control is a handheld trigger that adds a fail-safe, as well as additional firing functionality, to your 18R2 Controller. Please note the COBRA Deadman Control requires you to operate the COBRA 4.0 or higher firmware release.

Signal Booster

The COBRA Booster is a signal amplifier for improving overall signal strength.

DISH Antenna

 The COBRA Dish Antenna is a 120-degree unidirectional antenna for improving signal strength in one direction.

Armored Carrying Case

A crush-proof and waterproof carrying case for your 18R or 18R2 Controller. Includes custom foam cut-out for easy placement and removal of the controller and antenna.

SMPTE Module Upgrade 


The COBRA SMPTE upgrade will allow your 18R2 controller to accept SMPTE timecode from an outside source. For more information on SMPTE please see our SMPTE Time Code support document.
